IT Internship

Job Summary:  Under the direction of the IT Manager, assists in the operation of the IT Department by providing technical support. 

Job Functions:

  • Assist in the wiring of cameras and APs at the plants
  • Document systems and label
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on operating new software and computer equipment.
  • Clean up computer cables and desks with computer cable bundles.
  • Assist in the setup, patching, and deployment of PCs, applications, printers, scanners, switches, routers, and other miscellaneous devices such as smartphones.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to reach with hands and arms with a high level of finger dexterity
  • Ability to read computer screens, mail, e-mail, and talk on the phone
  • Ability to lift up and carry up to 50 lbs, push, pull, and some climbing
  • Ability to travel as directed by position requirements
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop


Work Environment:

Position location is in Manhattan, KS, but travel to other MCM locations is required. The job will require visits to remote locations where heat, cold, dust, and noise are present.
